Notary Fees

Traditional notarial acts are charged in accordance with New York State law. Any applicable facility or meeting-location charge is separate from the statutory notarial fee and will be disclosed to the customer.

Scheduled Meeting-Location Service

For non-mobile appointments, customers may be asked to meet the Notary Public at a designated third-party location. When a facility or meeting-location charge applies, it is separate from the notarial fee and covers use of the third-party location.

Mobile Notary Service – New York City

Mobile notary service within the five boroughs of New York City is subject to a $250 mobile travel/service fee. This fee covers travel and related mobile-service expenses and is separate from any statutory notarial fees.

Mobile Service Outside the Five Boroughs

For mobile service outside New York City's five boroughs but within New York State, the travel/service fee will be quoted based on the location and circumstances of the appointment. The price must be agreed upon before travel begins.

Payment

Any required mobile travel/service fee or other applicable service charge must be paid according to the terms provided when the appointment is scheduled. Statutory notarial fees and separately disclosed travel or facility charges may appear as separate charges.

No-Shows and Mobile Travel

Once travel to a mobile appointment has begun, the mobile travel/service fee is non-refundable.

If the Notary Public arrives at the agreed location and the customer is unavailable, fails to appear, or cannot proceed with the appointment for reasons attributable to the customer, the mobile travel/service fee will not be refunded.

For prepaid scheduled meeting-location appointments, a customer who fails to appear may forfeit applicable prepaid facility or service charges.

Completed Notarial Services

Fees for properly completed notarial acts are non-refundable after the service has been performed.

Dissatisfaction after a properly completed notarial act does not, by itself, create a right to a refund.

Unable to Complete a Notarization

A notarization may be declined or unable to proceed when legal or identification requirements are not satisfied, the signer is not present as required, the signer cannot demonstrate willingness or awareness as required, the document or transaction presents a legal impediment, or the Notary Public is otherwise prohibited from performing the requested act.

Any refund of prepaid amounts in such circumstances will depend on which services were actually provided and whether travel or third-party facility costs had already been incurred.

Cancellation by Simplest Life Solutions LLC

If Simplest Life Solutions LLC cancels an appointment before travel begins or before services are provided, the customer may be offered rescheduling or a refund of applicable prepaid amounts.

Customer Agreement

By scheduling and paying for notary or mobile notary services, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Notary Public Service Policies.
